About EGS (Wells Fargo India Solutions),

We are hiring for a position in EGS Delivery in India. EGS stands for Wells Fargo’s Enterprise Global Services. We are a critical component of the Wells Fargo strategy to leverage distinct advantages of a global environment. Legally, we are known as Wells Fargo India Solutions Currently we are 10000+ strong team members with 3 locations (Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad) in India and 1 center in Manila.

Department Overview:

The Program Management Office Center of Excellence (PMO COE) is focused on our partners, team members and execution excellence. We will focus on our partners by collaborating and engaging from the beginning of the Project Lifecycle at Ideation all the way through the Execution and Close phases of a project. We will provide expert council; lead courageous conversations and ensure execution excellence. We will focus on our team members. With over 1,200 domestic and global team members and managed resources, we will work to position each one of them to be successful. The PMO COE Leadership team has already demonstrated strong collaboration, courage and trust to build this organization. We will continue to focus on our accountabilities, with emphasis on our partners, team members and execution excellence. Roles & Responsibilities:

A Project Manager 2 is responsible for leading and managing multiple projects through each phase of a project lifecycle across multiple departments within a Line of business. The Projects will be of medium Risk, scope and complexity

Consults with business partners to clarify and define project requirements and business case, including development of a statement of work

Responsible for leading smaller scale, lower risk projects and managing all activities in a project life-cycle (initiation planning, executing/controlling, and closing) associated with projects that are typically department-focused and/or lower in risk, scope and complexity.

Consults with business partners to clarify and define project requirements and business case, including development of a statement of work.

Develops and revises project plans and budgets, tracks project/budget status, identifies and negotiates resolution of issues, escalating as necessary and ensures project tasks are completed according to established timelines.

Interacts with mid-management to create and deliver presentations on project goals and plans, including progress reports.

Participates on project teams to complete more complex project work. May be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing outside vendors. May assist with project risk analysis.

Skills & Experience Required:

Candidate should have a total of 8 years of Experience in IT/ITES organization

Minimum 2+ Years of core Project Management

Salary : Negotiable

Experience in IT- Projects, predominantly in Infrastructure or SDLC. Projects Executed in Banking domain will be a plus

Good Knowledge of industry standard Project Management methodologies and frameworks, viz. Agile or Waterfall or SDLC or PRINCE2®

Good in preparing / developing project schedules, estimation, establishing measures and milestones, definition, scoping, tracking etc.

Knowledge of managing projects through use of processes like risk management, quality management, Issue/problem management & Scope change management

Essential Qualifications:

Any Bachelor Degree

Advance knowledge of industry standard Project Management methodologies like PMP

Sound understanding of SDLC in the Banking domain.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

Experience working with global teams.

Ability to influence and negotiate with senior management and lead project teams.
